Frequently Asked Questions

What image formats can I convert to PDF?

The tool supports all common image formats including JPG/JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, and WEBP. Simply drag and drop your images or click to upload. Multiple images can be combined into a single PDF document. Images are processed in your browser for privacy - no files are uploaded to servers.

How do I control the page size and orientation of the PDF?

Use the PDF Settings panel to choose page size (A4, Letter, A3), orientation (Portrait or Landscape), margins, and image fit mode. A4 is standard for international documents, Letter for US documents. Portrait works best for vertical images, Landscape for horizontal images. Adjust margins to control white space around images on each page.

What is the difference between Fit to Page, Fill Page, and Stretch to Page?

Fit to Page (contain) scales images to fit entirely within the page while maintaining aspect ratio, adding letterboxing if needed. Fill Page (cover) fills the entire page, cropping parts that don't fit. Stretch to Page distorts images to fill the page completely, potentially changing aspect ratio. For photos, use Fit to Page to prevent cropping.

Can I reorder images before generating the PDF?

Yes! Use the up and down arrow buttons next to each image to reorder them. The number indicator shows each image's position in the final PDF. Images appear in the PDF in the order shown in the list. This is useful for organizing scanned documents, photo albums, or multi-page reports before PDF creation.

Is there a limit on the number of images or PDF file size?

There's no strict limit, but performance depends on your device's memory. For best results, use up to 50-100 images. Very large images (over 10MB each) or hundreds of images may slow generation. Consider resizing large images before conversion. The tool processes everything client-side, so larger PDFs use more browser memory.

Are my images uploaded to a server or processed locally?

All image processing happens entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your images never leave your device or get uploaded to any server. This ensures complete privacy for sensitive documents like contracts, ID cards, medical records, or personal photos. The tool works offline once the page is loaded.
